As another Tuesday night approaches, I inwardly groan to myself, yet another night of The Westin or Media One, with people who are to cool for school and refuse to interact with other people or the completely other side of the spectrum and throw up on you.
So you can imagine how pleasantly surprised I was when I “slummed” it the other night and went with my much younger male friends to “Rock Bottom” in Tecom.
Straight away I was impressed, there was a bar designated for ladies only, where the vodka and cranberry was free and flowing, plastic glasses that reminded me on my collage days and the live band was rocking out everything from Lady Gaga to Kings of Leon.
Then there was, the people who were patrons at rock bottom, a mixture of uber cute younger people with hipster fashion, to people just chilling and playing pool.
If it’s a Tuesday night, you know where I’ll be from now on!
