Deep Crates is the new (well new-ish) Thursday night hot spot, where you will find Dubai’s cool kids jumping around in designer kicks and ironic T -Shirts, starting break dance circles and at the end of the night doing the limbo *this part may be made up in my own head, the end of the night is a tad hazy*.
If the allure of free wine for women between 10pm and 12pm isn’t enough to get you to Deep Crates, the music will! Team Deep Crates promises no commercial music, but a mixture of fun, dirty beats, Funk, Hip Hop, Latin, Afrobeat, Reggae, Soul, Brazilian and block party beats and breaks!
Deep Crates is located in Casa Latina, Ibis Al Barsha hotel, SKZ Rd, don’t let the not-so-glitzy venue throw you off, it means no pretentious dress code, no douchey door b*tch silently judging you and of course cheap drinks.
Deep Crates, reminds me of the hole in the wall clubs you find in Sydney, where you go for 1 drink and end up leaving at 3 in the morning with a brand new group of friends (who’s names you can’t remember), one hell of a hang over and high-larious memories.
